Grand Opening of The Iturrioz-Arteche Science Center
Atlanta, GA - Mikart has recently opened a new state-of-the-art science center designed to deliver a full range of pharmaceutical services including preformulation/formulation development, analytical method development and testing, and pilot scale manufacturing. The 40,000 sq. ft. facility is home to 50 chemists, research technicians, development scientists, and regulatory specialists. The center will also be the focal point for development of Mikart's proprietary technologies.

The 250 attendees at the inauguration ceremonies participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony, speech by Mr. Arteche, and a full facility tour. Mr. Arteche shared his vision for the future and thoughts from the past. He formally dedicated the science center to Mikart's original founders, his parents, Dr. Ruben Arteche and Dr. Bertha Iturrioz-Arteche. "Their stone was responsible for starting a ripple in the water. Today, we are charged with turning ripples into waves and directing them to many shores." Mr. Arteche stated.
