Job Description:

The Sales & Business Development Manager for Mikart is responsible for the sales activities to new customers, from lead generation through closing, to support and facilitate the company’s sales and business development initiatives.

Duties:

  • Assess new markets, analyze business opportunities, identify new prospects and develop strategic relationships with new customers to expand the company’s customer base and increase sales of Mikart’s products and/or services
  • Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects of the various solutions Mikart offers to their business issues
  • Track and report on the status of all prospect interaction
  • Establish and maintain prospective customer relationships to anticipate and facilitate in resolution of prospective customer issues/problems with a goal towards closing the sale and developing long-term business relationships
  • Collaborate with others in Sales and Marketing and with all support departments for the achievement of customer satisfaction, to drive project execution and revenue generation
  • Coordinate and collaborate with senior Mikart management to facilitate the final qualification decision-making process regarding prospective customers
  • Aid in the transfer of information necessary to facilitate the proposal process for prospective customers
  • Actively represents Mikart at trade shows and conferences.
Job Requirements:

Bachelors’ degree and a minimum of 3 years related experience, or other appropriate combination of education and experience, preferred.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated organizational abilities and interpersonal skills required.  A demonstrated ability to cold call and market to executive level decision makers is required. Must be able to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, meet and exceed minimum sales and revenue goals and must be able to effectively manage associated time and activities. Strong knowledge of the industry marketplace is a must.  Must be proficient with various office software programs, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word and Excel. Travel is required.
